Weight Lifting to Build Muscle

Weight Lifting to Build Muscle

Millions of people lift weights everyday in order to gain weight and build muscle. Unfortunately, most of them fail and stop working out within a few months. The reason the majority of these people fail to gain weight is because they are not following a great workout routine. Finding a training program designed for your body type is the key to bulking up.

The first place to avoid looking for training advice is in muscle magazines. These magazines are distributed to a large audience and the routines in them are designed for just some people. If you struggle to gain weight and add muscle, these routines definitely will not help you. They are intended more for people who gain weight and build muscle mass quickly and easily. If you train with these workouts, you will actually weaken your muscles because you will be overtraining them.

Another place to avoid advice from is your jacked friends. They probably have a different body type than you that allows them to bulk up on certain workout programs that will actually hurt you.

The best training program a hardgainer can find is one that allows their muscles ample time to rest in between lifts. Their muscles take longer to heal than most people's do. This is the reason they are hardgainers but hardly any of them know this. A workout routine designed for them will call for only 3 to 4 hours in the weight room with each session lasting no longer than an hour. This will trigger great muscle growth while giving the muscles sufficient time to fully heal in between lifts.
